<description>Joiphone tech support has been very helpful in getting me online.
I had the issue that I could hear my caller, but my caller couldn't hear me. Turns out that my Verizon Fios is set for PPPoE protocol. Joiphone explained how to set the Gizmo for PPPoE, and they set their end to do the same, walla, great phone service.
After setting my Gizmo to PPPoE, I set my D-Link router for TCP/IP and my internet was back on line. Note, I also reset the D-Link IP range to match the Gizmo.
Joiphone is a Joy!

<description>I found the fix. The joiphone service requires that UDP 5060-5070 and 10000-20000 ports to be opened on the firewall. I think this could lead to other security problems. I moved my joiphone gizmo to the DMZ and it works now.

<description>I setup as per the above instructions. I am getting ringtone. However, when I make a call, I cannot hear what the other party is saying, while the other party is able to hear me. On the other hand if I receive a call, I am able to hear and the other party is also able to hear.

Any help in diagnosing the problem would be very much appreciated, thanks.
